Wonder Connection has a new administrative home!
Don't worry- we're still working with kids at the hospital! This new home will help us strengthen our mission-driven work.
Read on below for additional information about this transition.
We are so grateful to UNC and the North Carolina Botanical Garden for acting as our chrysalis for the past seven and half years.
We are now able to emerge, spread our wings and fly!
SEE (Social and Environmental Entrepreneurs) will serve as Wonder Connection’s new fiscal sponsor. This move gives Wonder Connection the independence, autonomy, and freedom we need to work towards achieving our full wondrous potential!
A fiscal sponsor is a tax-exempt umbrella organization that provides nonprofit status and administrative services to small programs
SEE has the capacity, experience, and infrastructure to support Wonder Connection
SEE will provide administrative support, HR support, and financial reporting (these are all things we're happy to have someone else take care of!)
Our work with kids will stay the same- we will continue to serve patients at UNC Children's Hospital and outpatient families at the Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill.
As of Friday 2/15/19, this dream has become a reality!
With the support of people like you, we truly feel that the sky is the limit for Wonder Connection and we are so excited to have you along for the ride!
