Well-Deserved Recognition

At the April 24, 2015 Arbor Day Celebration at the Tivoli Lake Preserve in Albany, Bartlett Tree Arborist Representative Trevor Hall, on behalf of the New York State Arborists, presented Nina Bassuk with the 2015 Senior Scholar Award.

Hall says, "The NYSA gave this award to Nina in recognition of her research and extension work that has raised the level of arboriculture in NY. Nina has always been there as a respected and knowledgeable resource for us to turn to in planning our educational meetings and seminars. On top of that Nina has mentored countless students at Cornell in the care of urban trees." Congratulations, Nina!
