SPRING TERM                                                                    Friday 14th February 2014

St Valentine's Day
Good Morrow to you, Valentine
Curl your locks as I do mine
Two before and three behind
Good Morrow to you, Valentine

Long before St Valentine became the patron saint of lovers, a festival was held in ancient Rome during February in honour of the great god Pan.

For children today it is the surprise element of a pretty card and sharing love which holds the enjoyment of the day.

Cross Country Champs

Last Friday in the wind and the rain classes V, VI and class VII run their very best around the cross country course at Islington Schools Championships and the students all did exceptionally well. We had gold and silver winners in the Junior girls with Isla and Vega both running impressive times and in the team events the junior girls won the overall competition and the boys
came a very respectable third.

Well done to all those that took part and a thank you to all the staff that accompanied myself and cheered on with great enthusiasm.

Let’s use the Half Term to get rid of the Creepy Crawlies

Several cases of head lice have been reported in our School.

Please screen your child regularly and notify us immediately if head lice or their nits (lice eggs) are detected.

Working together will help to protect all of the children, including your own.

Thank you for your cooperation.

We are delighted to be hosting this talk at the school on Thursday 27th February from 7-9pm. Book your babysitters and come along.

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy Offer by Devi

I’m a Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist and a parent at St. Paul’s (KG and Class 2).  I have just become a member of the Stepping Stones Project, a local treatment clinic that offers a range of affordable holistic therapies, on the border of Hackney and Islington in De Beauvoir.

For the month of February through April, I would like to offer a reduced “say what you pay” rate from £25-£45 for all Steiner families.  Treatments are 45-60 minutes per session and Mothers & Babies 60-90 minutes. The treatments are safe, gentle and suitable for anyone of all ages.

Please feel free to email me if you’d like to schedule a session or a free consultation to see if Craniosacral Therapy is right for you –  Information on Craniosacral Therapy and my bio can be found at

The Stepping Stones Project is located at:
The Crypt, St Peter’s Church Corner of Northchurch Terrace & De Beauvoir Road Hackney, London N1 4DA

Sessions are available on Wednesdays from 9 am-2 pm or 10am-12pm on Tuesdays & Saturdays. Evening appointments can also be scheduled upon request.
