AASAS HAPPENINGS: 
 

 The Association  of Alberta Sexual Assault  Services was pleased to attend and be a part of  the Federal, Provincial and Territorial Status of  Women Ministries Sexual Violence Knowledge  Exchange on June 17, 2015.  AASAS shared with  conference participants: information on sexual  assault  services in Alberta; AASAS research; the AASAS Sexual Violence Action Plan; and the Program Logic Models and Outcome Measurement Guide for the seven core sexual assault services.

 Following the Knowledge Exchange AASAS met with representatives from sexual assault service associations from the Western Canadian provinces to discuss our collaborative projects and information sharing opportunities.

Fort McMurray Family Crisis Society: Sexual Assault Program

Fort McMurray Family Crisis Society invites the public to attend the approval of the 2014/2015 Financial Audit Statement on July 16, 2015 from 6:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at The Compass (Board Room, 3rd floor), 130 Prospect Drive (Timberlea).  For more information, please click here.    

Lloydminster Sexual Assault and Information Centre (LSAIC)

On September 19, 2015 the Lloydminster Sexual Assault and Information Centre (LSAIC) will be holding their second Walk A Mile event! Registration begins at 11am at The Root, the Walk is at 12pm, with entertainment to follow! They will have a BBQ, refreshments, and DJ to help soothe the participant’s sore toes.  For more information or to register please click here.
