Even before this round of Resource Reports, MA
State Senate President called for delay in hearings

Stan Rosenberg before this untimely release Kinder Morgan's new Resource Reports. Pending dockets at the DPU with Kinder Morgan's potential customers, another DPU docket in which the Dept. of Energy Resources calls for an investigation into means of adding new natural gas capacity in to the New England market and a pending study by the Attorney General's office on what the state's actual energy needs are and what alternative means could be used to solve them are all ongoing considerations that need to be determined BEFORE proceeding with pipeline plans.

Rosenberg, who also asks FERC to schedule a second public hearing at a later date, but before issuance of an EIS scope and Tennessee Gas Pipeline’s formal application — expected sometime in October — if it refuses to postpone next week’s hearing.
