Youth Walkout for Climate Justice
Boston Common • 11 a.m. • Monday, March 31st

On March 31st, hundreds of youth across the Commonwealth will walk out of classes and take time from their jobs to converge on the Statehouse and call on Governor Patrick to draw a hard line against new fossil fuel infrastructure.

Kick-off meeting to form Berkshire chapter of statewide climate crisis initiative coincides with growing opposition to natural gas pipeline planned for Berkshire County. State Senator Benjamin Downing, and Craig Altemose, executive director of the Better Future Project / 350 Massachusetts, will speak about climate action at the kick-off meeting of the Berkshire chapter of 350 Massachusetts, a state-based organization formed to address the climate crisis specifically through political action in Massachusetts.
