Saying Goodbye...

I have had the privilege of working at Yiewsley Cornerstone Centre for almost 6 years. When I arrived there was no new building and within a few months we were running sessions out of the church sanctuary while
the new building emerged around us. My previous working life and experience was varied: from being a nurse to working with adults with learning disabilities to registered childminding to registrar and to being a mum.
Within a few months of joining the team I was excited to take on the role of Senior Early Years Practitioner. Since then I have been managing early years services and have been in involved in shaping all the charity activities provided to the community by representing on the YCC senior management team.
Yiewsley Cornerstone Centre is always helping staff develop personally and professionally and I was encouraged to complete my degree in Early Years. The experience I have gained here will help me greatly within my new role working as an early years inspector.
I leave here with fond memories of my colleagues and the individuals and families that we work with. Thank you for making life interesting!
                                                                                   Deborah
Yiewsley Cornerstone Centre would like to thank Deborah for all her hard work and commitment over the years. As of the end of September Deborah will no longer be in her role at the charity. We will miss her enormously and wish her luck in her new role!!!
