Plea for sanity and humanity

Debt Truth Inquiry
The first report from the Debt Truth Committee will be published 19 June. This is a special committee of the Hellenic Parliament set up to carry out a public investigation and audit into public debt in Greece. Read more

The Greece Solidarity Campaign, International Peoples Assembly, Syriza UK and many more are forming an international bloc as part of the Peoples Assembly National Demonstration to End Austerity Now, 20 June.
The Greece Solidarity Campaign along with Jubilee Debt Campaign and International Peoples Assembly are holding a Drop the Debt rally, Tuesday 23 June 6.30pm, Trafalgar Square.

Victory to Greek Cleaners!
In defiance of the IMF and EU the Greek Parliament confirmed the reinstatement of fighting cleaners, as part of a range of measures for the public sector.
MPs from the former coalition parties, New Democracy and PASOK walked out before the vote.
Anti-Fascist Action for Greece are campaigning for a refugee called Mohammed to stay in the UK. Mohammed was granted asylum in Greece.
As a human rights activist he was repeatedly attacked by members of Golden Dawn. In 2013 he fled to the UK where his claim for asylum was turned down. His appeal takes place 31 July. Read more
