Week 1 and start of the training season...

This week marks the start of our training season.  We will hold training sessions on most Mondays, Thursdays, and one day over the weekend.  Athletes will also be given a general schedule to follow each week for those that want the additional structure.  Please, Please, Please...have bikes in working order prior to each team training session.  Flat tires happen and will be fixed as quickly as possible but mechanical issues can result in an athlete having to sit out the training session as we won't have time to complete significant repairs on site.  I recommend checking that the chain shifts into all gears, the brakes work, and tires are pumped up to 20 to 30 psi if tubeless and 30 psi if non-tubeless.  If tubeless I recommend making sure the sealant has been replaced in the last month or two. 

Each week the schedule will be sent out by Wednesday night for the following week.  As always the schedule could be altered due to weather thus I recommend checking email before workouts.

Week 1:  Feb 27 to March 5th

Monday: Team meeting at Sierra BMW 5:30 PM start (no bikes)

Thursday: 5:00 start at Reno Sports Complex (2975 N. Virginia) at the softball fields.  We will roll out at 5:00 since we will need to wrap up soon after 6:00 due to darkness.  I understand that 5:00 can be tough due to work so carpool if necessary. 

Saturday: 3:00 to 5:00 PM Reno Sports Complex.
