We Remember Kayla Moore

Please join us at the Moore family's next court hearing!

 for details
Four long years have passed since Kayla Moore was killed by Berkeley police during the night between February 12th and 13th, 2013.  On Feb. 13th, the Justice 4 Kayla Moore Coalition and Copwatch joined together with Berkeley Organizing Congregations for Action (BOCA) for a Black History Month Prayer Vigil to honor Kayla and the many Black people who, throughout history, have lived, struggled, fought for justice, survived and died, often before their time.

We remember Kayla and we'll keep fighting for justice in her name and for all Black, trans and disabled folks who face police violence.

In order to achieve our goals this year, we need some stuff! We're looking for a new police scanner and a new computer, as well as the funds to help print materials and revamp our website. Or, if you would like to donate some money to our general fund, that would be amazing too! Berkeley Copwatch is an all volunteer organization that is supported by the community. If you have any leads, or would like to donate, please email us.
