To thank our volunteers for everything they've done for us, we threw a party! Top Chef's Carlos Gaytan, Chef at Chicago's Mexique, spent his birthday with us and served mussels with chorizo. Volunteers also dined on waffle-wrapped hot dogs from Waffles Cafe and pastries from Floriole. To top it all off, there were raffle prizes from Godiva. Thanks again to our passionate volunteers and for our supporters' generous donations to this event. Check out our Facebook album for more photos.

The fifth episode of #FoodseumFilms features Chicago's legendary Honey Butter Fried Chicken. How did honey butter meet fried chicken? We sat down with Chef Joshua Kulp to discuss the magic combination that has everyone asking for more.

But there's more to HBFC than its creative condiment. The chicken shop is well aware of its place in the community and on this planet. Their mantra says it all: "We believe that you should feel good about your foodwhere it comes from, how it's prepared, how it is served and by whom."

See the Wienermobile This Saturday
The Oscar Mayer "mini" Wienermobile is stopping by Foodseum on Saturday!

When: Saturday, 10/24
Time: 11 AM - 3 PM
Where: Inside Block 37, 109 N. Dearborn entrance 

Take a photo, get a Weenie Whistle, and score some coupons courtesy of Oscar Mayer! Then head upstairs to Foodseum to learn about the history of the Wienermobile.
