WECDRR 2016 Abstract Book

WFEO members gathered in Lima, Peru, for our Executive Council and Committee meetings from December 3 to 9. In parallel, on December 5 and 6, our Peruvian member the Peruvian Association of Professional Engineers (CIP) organised the 2016 World Engineering Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction (WECDRR 2016) which purpose was to present and discuss recent experiences on disasters and to assess proposed solutions promoting the contribution of engineering to the disaster risk management.

WECDRR 2016 was a real success : some 1100 participants from Peru and other countries around the world attended the event. Leading researchers presented their contributions to the latest global developments which, implemented by engineers, will help to significantly reduce the damages caused by severe natural phenomena.

The abstracts of the presentations are now available for download in the following link: WECDRR 2016 Abstract Book
