In the first newsletter, we introduced the theme and concept of this year’s TEDxLugano event: (Hy-)performance. This will push our speakers and audience to consider a challenging question: “Is the ability to perform enough, if not pushed beyond the limits of our imagination?”
In this week’s newsletter, we are pleased to start unveiling “Who is behind the mask” and share with you some insights on our speakers. They will be challenging the definition of human capability and bringing you beyond what the eyes can see into a new realm of possibility.

His interest and desire to speak at TEDxLugano stems from his belief that "the world needs ideas worth spreading and because I believe the world needs people who make these ideas a reality. That's why I want to inspire more people to step outside of their comfort zone and pursue the things they are most afraid of."
CEO at Dalma Capital Management Ltd.
Howard is a hedge fund manager headquartered in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
He is delighted to be back in Lugano and to be a speaker because "TEDx is without doubt a perfect platform to try to make a difference in just 18 minutes. My hope is that each listener will take away from TEDx at least one line or one thought that will change the rest of their lives for the better and that a difference is made and, of course, I hope that line or thought will be taken from the reflections I will impart."
