A note from the Alumni Association board president

It’s no secret that UW-Eau Claire is known as Wisconsin's most beautiful campus. The natural beauty of the area has been enhanced in recent years through new buildings, a refreshed campus mall and other meaningful landmarks. The university’s beauty also comes from our students. Their energy, diversity, athletic participation, fine-arts creations and academic achievements make our campus distinctly unique.

Did you know that many of the campus enhancements, scholarships and opportunities for students are made possible through generous donations from alumni?

On behalf of the Alumni Association board of directors, I encourage you to donate to the UW-Eau Claire Foundation on Giving Tuesday, Nov. 29. Throughout the day, you may be able to double your donation by taking advantage of different match opportunities. Visit givingday.uwec.edu for all the details.

We sincerely hope you consider giving to our beloved alma mater this month!

Carry high the blue and gold,

Tom Holtan '09
Alumni Association board president
