As we welcome UW-Eau Claire's Class of 2026 and all other students for the fall semester, there is excitement, anticipation and energy on campus! U.S. News & World Report: UW-Eau Claire is top public regional university in Wisconsin

UW-Eau Claire was ranked first among public regional universities in Wisconsin, seventh among public schools in the Midwest and in the top two of public regional universities in Wisconsin and Minnesota. The university also received high marks from Forbes and Campus Pride

Take home a piece of Blugold history: Pick up your brick!

Say goodbye to Putnam and Katharine Thomas halls, and pick up your brick from 2-5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7, at the Flesch Family Welcome Center, 127 Roosevelt Ave. Email to reserve your piece of Blugold history. Golden Blugolds 50-Year Reunion
Oct. 7 | 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m.
"Golden Blugolds," graduates from 1972 and earlier, are invited to a social, luncheon and "50 Years of Music" presentation to celebrate their long tenure as UW-Eau Claire alumni. Register by Sept. 30.

Campus Ambassador Alumni Reunion
Oct. 7 | 5-7 p.m.
Alumni from the 37-year history of the university's tour guide organization are invited to mingle over refreshments and put their years-old tour knowledge to the test with "then and now" trivia. Register here.

Twins for the win!

Blugolds who serve on the Foundation and Alumni boards (and friends) were hosted in the Xcel Energy box for the Sept. 13 Minnesota Twins game against the Kansas City Royals. (The Twins won 6-3!) Jacob Bauer  '18
Bauer, a business finance graduate, has been promoted to relationship manager for Security Financial Bank in Bloomer. Read more.

Tracy Garder '02
Garder, a comparative studies in religion graduate, received the Legion of Merit last month at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Garder, the last Women’s Army Corps soldier on active duty, began her career in the Women's Army Corps in 1978 at Fort McClellan, Alabama, one year before it was integrated into the U.S. Army. Read more.

Livingston, a business education graduate, has been named provost and vice president of academic affairs at Chippewa Valley Technical College. Read more.
Robert Mathers '85
Mathers, a management information systems graduate, has joined the business law and tax law practice groups of Quarles & Brady LLP in Milwaukee. Read more.

Potter, a geology graduate, is the new co-director of the Geotechnical Center of Excellence at the University of Arizona. Read more.
