Horizon orders are due
Monday December 5th at 9am.

Please browse through the Horizon Catalogue and send an e-mail with your order as soon as possible (information below!) Remember your total invoice on your order will be 10% more than the catalogue cost, the mark-up going to cover Potluck Food Co-op costs.

If you know in advance that you are sharing bulk items with other Potluck Food Co-op members Christina has generously offered to make receipts/invoices up accordingly so no money has to change hands between members (e.g. if three members are splitting a bag of beans each member will be charged 1/3 of the cost of the bag). Here is the information for placing an Horizon Order:
  • Orders must be in by Monday December 5th at 9am.
  • Pick-up will be Saturday December 10th at the Food Bank.
  • Send an email with a list in the body of the e-mail of codes and quantities, and we will accept payment on pickup. (If you do not have a current catalog and need one, please email and we will send one to you, either in PDF or xlsx form (please specify). We will work to post a link to a current catalog as soon as possible.
also, if you have not placed an order from the Horizon catalog before and need assistance or more information please e-mail and we will walk you through the process.

Information about pick-up of the Horizon orders....

  • Members must pick up their orders on Saturday December 10th between 11:00am and 2:00pm at the Food Bank at 302 Alexander St. (We need to be out of the Food Bank and all cleaned up by 3pm).
  • Please come to the small alley door where you see the Potluck Food Co-op sign to pick-up your order.
  • The Food Bank has asked for nothing in return for our use of their facilities! We plan to show our appreciation by making donations to them. If you, as a member, choose to donate goods from your Horizon order, a charitable receipt for the donation can be issued. (Before donating, go to the website for the Whitehorse Food Bank, and under "donate food", see what they need. Money works too!) Donations can be left at the Food Bank on December 10th.
  • Members will be sorting their own orders at pick-up. Please leave yourself enough time on pick-up day to find all of your order - especially if you have a large order. A Potluck Food Co-op volunteer with help you ensure you have found all the products you ordered, and you will be able to make your payment by cash or credit card.
  • If you are sharing bulk items with other members you are welcome to repack the items at the Food Bank, there will be a station set-up for this purpose. There will be scales, scoops and funnels provided. Please bring our own repack bags if possible, but there will be some available.
Lastly, but most importantly WE NEED VOLUNTEERS TO HELP! Please e-mail if you are able to volunteer with this Horizon Order on Saturday December 10th.
