Immediate grant funding has made a world of difference for Guelph. Help us offer thanks to those who've directly impacted the HOPE House community.
to the Rescue!
It is truly our conviction that community is the opposite of poverty and this has been proven 100 fold during this uncertain time.
Supporters such as United Way of Guelph-Welllington-Dufferin, Guelph Community Foundation, Community Food Centres Canada and Denso North America have made a tremendous difference when it comes to immediate grant funding distributed to front line providers supporting Guelph's most vulnerable and those directly impacted by the ongoing effects of COVID-19.
This weeks newsletter is written with deep gratitude for these amazing community supporters.
On March 31, The United Way and the Guelph Community Foundation announced their collaborative effort to support agencies doing critically important work and those under immense pressure as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak with the launching of the Guelph COVID-19 Community Response Fund.
100% of the funds raised through the Community Response Fund is re-distributed to local agencies just like HOPE House.
We are so thankful to be a recipient of the COVID-19 Community Response Fund for our online and over the phone counselling services in partnership with Five Star Relationships. This funding will help ensure that individuals have access to the mental health support they need.
Community Food Centres Canada (CFCC) builds health, belonging and social justice in low-income communities across Canada through the power of food. CFCC supports Community Food Centres and Good Food Organizations across Canada to build their capacity for impact and to empower communities to work toward a healthy and fair food system.
We are grateful to Community Food Centres Canada and all of the donors to #GoodFoodAccessFund for their generous support. Because of them, we are able to support more people in Guelph with access to healthy food choices delivered directly to their door! Thank you to the Government of Canada and Community Food Centres Canada for providing essential funding to help us offer emergency food relief in our community.

Across North America, DENSO North America locations are stepping up to support local organizations battling COVID-19, actions that align with the company's longtime commitment to supporting the places it calls home. DENSO North America Foundation donated to HOPE House to support our Food Market and free grocery delivery efforts for people experiencing food insecurity and/or financial hardship. We are absolutely thrilled to have their support. Tremendous thanks to DENSO's for their generosity and care!
