Embrace the change of seasons
and prepare your home for fall

We know that moving from summer to fall can make anyone feel a bit off-balance and unsure of what to do next. That’s why we have pulled together our ultimate home design checklist to help you transition seasons seamlessly — both in your indoor and outdoor spaces. Check out our to-do list in our latest blog!

Our fabulous clients invited us back to continue making their home as stylish as they are. This project was a complete master suite renovation. The neutral color palette was inspired by the platinum tones in the custom marble bath floor and Carrara shower tile mosaic in the master bath, where the freestanding Waterworks tub makes a beautiful statement. Every space features a sparkly, drippy chandelier — our clients' (and our) fave! This suite exudes elegance, and we were so happy to collaborate with our wonderful clients for the third time!
Next we move into the envy-inducing dressing room. From glass and mirrored cabinetry to a sparkling chandelier, this closet is a dream come true! We installed floor-to-ceiling cabinets to display our client’s gorgeous handbags and shoes while the beautifully styled island provides space to accessorize her favorite ensembles.
Heading into the hearth room after the master suite, unexpected bursts of color from the curated art, throw pillows, and floral arrangements (not to mention the lush green of the views outside) really pop!

At this new construction home in Town & Country, the client and ADJ designer Meagan have been diligently working together to think outside of the box and have gone all out with amazing stone, earth-tone and warm colors, cabinetry, textiles … the list goes on and on!

The enormous great room with vaulted ceilings and walnut beams has floor-to-ceiling windows that let every ray of light in, which will complement the two brass chandeliers soon to be suspended. For the client’s hearth fireplace, we are handpicking as many deep red stones as possible from split weathered stones.

And check out these slabs that have Meagan and the client ecstatic to see installed. We love the saturated colors and bold movement — they are truly a work of art and will be used in even more unique ways in a bar and powder room. Stay tuned for more!

Our designers are always testing DIY projects in their homes. Meagan wanted to add some interest to the fireplace wall in her living room, and her inspiration came from the iconic Schumacher Queen of Spain wallcovering. Meagan appreciates a good DIY project, so when she came across a stencil on Etsy that resembled the wallcovering, she gave it a shot!

Meagan ordered the largest stencil possible, and with help from her sister, they used a roller to create the pattern in one of our favorite black paint colors here at ADJ, Sherwin Williams Tricorn Black. As with all DIYs, it took longer than expected, but the result is an unexpected and playful element to the living room and one of the first things Meagan’s guests notice!

As promised in our last newsletter, here are photos from ADJ Founder and CEO April’s trip to Europe! April and her family recently visited England and Scotland, just in time to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II.

They were even some of the first people to ride the Tube’s new Elizabeth Line on the way for a meal at Scarfs, one of April’s favorite pubs. From basking in the beauty of Westminster Abbey’s dazzling ceilings to enjoying food and goods from around the world in London’s open-air markets, it was a terrific vacation.

And of course, April could not go to London without visiting a Kit Kemp Property (the Soho Hotel this visit) and admiring its unique interiors! She even found the cherry on top in London’s Trafalgar Square!
