The COVID-19 pandemic has been the catalyst for a lot of change in the world. One thing that hasn’t changed, though, is the process we use at ADJ to make sure our clients have a great experience and get the design of their dreams. We’re following safety protocols to make sure our clients and crew are protected – but that doesn’t mean the process can’t still be easy, fun and a positive distraction from all that is happening in the world right now!

When it comes to interior design, trust is huge. Clients entrust us with their vision for the space of their dreams – and it is our job to make that dream come true. We’re not about fitting your ideas into our mold; we’re about bringing your ideas to life in a way that is innovative and fun. Have elements of your space that you’d like to keep? No problem, we’ll incorporate them into your new design! Need custom cabinetry or furniture to bring your vision to life? We’ve got it covered. Are there specific colors, textures, or trends that you’re just not that into? Just let us know and we’ll create something that perfectly aligns with your personal tastes.

Your design project is about your vision, your style, and your space. If you’ve got a great idea to reimagine part of your home, we’d love to help you turn it into a reality.

When personal passion meets design, incredible things happen. The R Farm was that kind of project for us. From the robust nature-inspired design to the phenomenal views, we had a lot of fun incorporating the client’s love of all things outdoors into this rustic cabin.

This custom David Stein table is a thing of beauty! The largest round table he's ever made; it was inspirational watching this stunning piece being installed and assembled. What talent we have right here in St. Louis! We are proud to call David a trusted vendor and friend. Check out this video of David's creation.

Now, we are waiting on the finishing touches for this room, a custom art piece from Sheppard Morose and a white lacquer side table. Stay tuned!

As the leaves change and the weather cools, the autumn season is the perfect time for a little change indoors, too. Switching up your décor for the season is a great opportunity to refresh your home and your mind. Keeping things exciting and fresh around your home can serve as a reminder that there’s always beauty to be found right around the corner.

You don’t have to stick to the norm either – be bold! Come up with your own fall look, adding in various colors from the season – including the not-so traditional. We recommend using what you have to create a great seasonal look. Here are a couple quick tips:
  • Have grandma’s favorite quilt stashed away in a closet? Use it as a cozy fall tablecloth
  • Enjoy the last bits of summer and start decorating for fall by looking to nature for DIY décor: grab some pumpkins from a local farmer’s market and stack them in a planter, fill bowls with gourds of all shapes and sizes, or make an arrangement out of gorgeous, ever-changing fall branches
  • Swap out light throws and bright summery pillows with cozy fall alternatives, like chunky blankets, textured pillows, and spiced, scented candles

Those that know her best describe Harlow as sophisticated, down-to-earth, and easy to work with. A natural leader, Harlow likes to design with the treat box in mind. Whether it’s conveniently placed by the back door in a vintage canning jar or displayed on the countertop in a Jonathan Adler canister, she always recommends maintaining a close link between form and functionality.

Wishing you health in beautiful spaces,
