Praise Report from Ella Jiang:  My daughter Evanna has eczema. We have tried many different kinds of lotions including Western medicine and Chinese herbal medicine, but nothing seems to work.

She would scream in the middle of the night and cry for help as if she was having an itchy attack all over her body. One night I prayed that Jesus' blood would cover her and protect her from itchiness, just like how the Israelite had spread the lamb's blood on the door frame to protect themselves during Passover. That night God answered my prayer; Evanna slept straight through without waking up. The next morning, I praised God for answering my prayer. However, the following night the itchiness came back and attacked her again. It made me believe that God has not healed her yet. My faith has been up and down because I feel like God is with us one day but leaves us the next.

During our board prayer meeting this past Saturday, Pastor Sea Faa explained to me that when Jesus died on the cross, "by his stripes we are healed" and that healing has been completed. She said that when God answered my prayer that one night, healing had already been completed. Any itchiness that came after was not coming from God. That same night I prayed based on her teaching. Miraculously, for four nights in a row now, Evanna did not have any itchy attack.

I praise God and give glory to Him for He is faithful. I learn that this is also a spiritual war to build my faith in God. Even though there are still times when her skin is itchy, I tell myself that God's healing on her has been completed and that itchiness is a false believe that I have to reject in the name of Jesus.

KCA Outreach
Do you have a talent you would like to share with our children from KCA and our church families? The activity can be short, anywhere from five to fifteen minutes, and can be shared over Zoom. As we start the new year, this would be a wonderful opportunity to connect with the children in our community. Please contact Ann Kawauchi for more information.
