New from the Studio...
November 2014 :

Hi Everyone,

I have updated my online Store to include new original paintings on paper from fall 2014. The online Store highlights affordable works on paper to start or expand upon your art collection or as a thoughtful gift. Please inquire about larger works on paper and paintings on canvas/panel at other price points.

I've been happily busy in the studio continuing my body of sculptural work titled "Intuitive Trainings" based off of the simple architectural form of a metal rod chair (used for structural support in concrete) along with my studio remnants, found parts, and vibrant materials. This body of work began in May of 2014. So far it includes at least 60 individual, hanging wall compositions, standing, singular metal rod chair compositions and now welded multiples on handmade concrete shelves. I am just beginning to learn and utilize MIG and Oxy Fuel welding for steel and I'm very excited about it. I have some plans and experiments I want to play around with as I continue to build upon this body of work. I know where I will hopefully be spending most of my freezing Chicago winter, trying out new things and staying warm in the SAIC Columbus Metal Shop and my studio. Please check out this new work on my website and for the most up to date images please follow my Instagram page for vbruceartist. Any inquires about this work please email me at

Happy November!
