STOP PRESS –
Two urgent news items!

Here are two notices that we think can’t wait until our next full  newsletter.

ACTA Survey of Post-School EAL Educators on the Effects of the COVID-19 Pandemic

Since the beginning of 2020, have you taught or managed in programs for international students and/or adult migrant and refugee English language learners, for example in the AMEP, SEE Program, TAFE, university, ELICOS and community and State-funded programs?

Then you’ll know that the closure of Australia’s borders has huge implications for your program and employment!

The Australian Council of TESOL Associations (ACTA) is the peak Council for all State/Territory TESOL associations.

To help ACTA advocate on your behalf, a sound evidence base is needed. So please complete our survey!

You’ll need a password to start the survey. It’s ACTA (upper case, no bolding).

To see other ACTA submissions and the great advocacy done on your behalf, go to: https://tesol.org.au/advocacy/

If you have comments or feedback to give on any of these submissions, please write to president@atesolact.org.au
