 Our first PL for 2021!

Exploring the Many Voices of Australia Through Literature

18 February 2021

Discover rich resources for adult and school-aged EAL/D, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander learners, and stimulating ideas for using literature to explore learners’ own cultural backgrounds and their experiences as they learn.

ROWAN SIMPKIN will lead a tour of NCACL's Australian Children’s Literature Culturally Diverse Database and its Indigenous Resources Database. Rowan has an EAL/D teaching background and was the curriculum expert for the development of both databases for the National Centre for Australian Children’s Literature (NCACL). This workshop will interest mainstream and specialist EAL/D teachers in school and adult settings, librarians and all educational leaders.
