THE UPCOMING COLLECTOR CARS FROM THE 80'S

Click Pictures for More Collector Cars from the 80's

As each new generation matures and obtains success in their business careers, they seek to return to their youth and reminisce how things were when they were teens. The teenagers of the 1980's are now in their forties and early fifties and the market is recognizing a surge in values of certain 1980's vehicles.

These buyers are now searching for the cars of their youth. Ones they owned and ones they could not afford but loved. Over the last eight years of business, we are selling more and more high quality 1980's cars each year. This newsletter will feature some of the recent sales of this decade’s favorites.

The 1980's cars were not always the best running cars and most not performance minded. This was the decade of Detroit’s redesigns to meet new USA fuel economy standards and the introduction of computers into everyday vehicles. Also, most foreign countries have 30 year import rules for bringing cars into their country and relaxed duty structures for cars 30 years old. When we started in 2007, the year of 1977 was the last year for these rules. Now in 2016, more than half the 1980's decade qualifies for export to these countries. This is creating a new demand for something different overseas and sales are increasing.

Enjoy the vehicles below from the 1980's we have recently sold. Maybe you will see one of your favorites making a comeback in the collector market!
