We have been busy beavers here at preschool and the younger students have just finished a study of animals in different habitats. They have investigated the way wild animals rely in their environment to survive and that we must help them by taking care of the earth. They have begin learning to write the number 0-10 in Thai scripts which is a bit tricky, but they are all making good progress. The have also started to learn ordinal counting 1st, 2nd,etc.

The older students are now proficient at addition and subtraction algorithms and some of the children are little math wizards!!!! They have continued to learn the letters of the alphabet and in the new year the children will be divided into leveled reading groups. The children's level of comprehension has improved a lot and they are now able to enjoy stories that are read to them more. A huge shout out to Miss Suzi, Miss Emma and Miss Kelly for all your hard work.

We have several children who are ready to enter into Grade one in May 2017 and they must sit exams in January in order to be accepted. Kru Ta and Khun Mon have been teaching them Thai to prepare for this exam.

We have begun our study about Christmas and making lots of crafts to help us remember the story.

Fridays is a highlight of the week for many of our children because that is the day we have a chance to do zumba with Miss Sheila and Chanise.

A big thanks to BBX for the donation of 150 cartoon t shirts.. everyone is getting one for Christmas!!!
We have been having lots of fun at our Saturday kids club program. We have been very busy with lots of visitors and making presents for our sponsors and friends too.

We were blessed to have our friends Karen and Andre here and they helped us with everything form crafts, preparing materials, planting flowers and most of all loving our kids!!

We have begun learning about the Christmas story and making crafts to help remember the true meaning of Christmas.

Our Nowegian mini golf friends are heroes in word and action. Thanks so much for taking us shopping every week to spend 10, 000 baht on food and supplies. Our cupboards never run dry with friends like these!!!

Last month our friends from Bosch introduced us to Dominique from the Skills 4 Life Foundation. The teenagers from this program in Chiang Mai have hand crafted toys for us to play with and everyone had a great time experimenting and playing with them.

There was time for playing with the toys, making crafts and doing what we do best... eating!!!!

Thanks so much Emma and Intira for all your hard work that made this day such a success and so enjoyable!
It has been a very quiet and somber atmosphere in both churches as people mourn the death of his majesty king Bhumibol Adulyadej. For many weeks there was no worship or games as we spent out time in prayer for our families and Thailand.

We had a combined memorial service for his majesty in Goh Pai and staff also attended the memorial service organised by the Pattaya City government.

Later in the month we have begun to learn about the Christmas story. Both the adults and children have been joining together to hear the word of God and make crafts to help remember the gospel story of Christmas. As you walk around these communities, the craft projects are proudly displayed in peoples houses. They have no money for Christmas trees and decorations, so these craft projects are prized possessions. On the 13th December all of the members from the Community of Faith Churches in Pattaya will come together to celebrate Christmas.

Thankful for Pastor Lisa and Sheila who come and help with prison ministry each week, making sandwiches, helping to carry dozens of bottles of water, medical supplies, clothes and fruit so that we can minister to those in jail. The police have now started taking our pictures as we are a part of their monthly report to the government. So our smiley faces are going all the way to Chonburi and Bangkok too!

We have been very busy ministering to the poor in the slum providing not only food but emotional support and assistance with managing their own finances. Recently we reviewed exactly how much help we were providing and we were surprised to see how much this ministry has grown in 12 months. The most significant change lies with the number of families we are assisting. In 2015 we were helping 32 families on a weekly basis, this number is now 66 families which helps 226 people!

The amount of food we distribute has also increased and on a weekly basis we give out:
115 kg of rice
115 packets of instant noodles
110 cans of fish
75 packets of rice noodles
63 small bottles of oil
63 small bottles of fish sauce
63 small bottles of oyster sauce
Thank you to everyone who helps us provide these essential goods.
Thank You International School of Chonburi!
A big thank you to the student council at ISC (International School of Chonburi) for collecting and delivering rice, milk, snacks and toys for our children at the center. The students came and spent the morning with the Hand to Hand children reading them stories, singing and dancing together. Great leaders at such a young age!
We are looking beautiful and fancy with our new flowers that have been planted on the road leading up to our center. Thanks to Malaysian Thai Chamber of Commerce (MTCC), Aapico Plastics Rayong, Polymer Solutions Co Ltd and Hicom Automotive Plastics (Thailand) Ltd who provided the resources and came to help lend a hand too! Thanks Mark for building the flower bed for us!!!

Polymer Solutions Co Ltd  also donated 500kg of rice , milk and snack and the Hicom Automotive Plastics (Thailand) Ltd donated some second hand computers which are great for our kids to use.

The morning was ended with a feast which included ice cream!!!
If you work at or own a business, we would like to invite you to be a part of our Christmas giving tree project. You put up a tree in your work place and we provide you with the ornaments to hang on the tree. The ornaments indicate things that we need like pencils, toilet paper, toothpaste etc. Your work colleagues or customers can donate the money for the items or purchase them and place them under the tree. This is a great alternative Christmas giving idea that can be done from anywhere in the world. If you would like more information on how to get involved please contact us at or send me a message on face book. Merry Christmas and Happy new Year to you all.
Thanks to everyone who helped us with the children's activities at the recent PILC bazaar. There were many hands on deck to build santa's grotto on the eve of the bazaar and we had 5 santas who took it oin turns to keep the children enthralled. Thanks to our artisits who painted too many faces to be counted. Also thank you to the leaders of PILC for another great event!
Our grade 3 community partners from the Regents International School came and spent 4 days with us playing, learning and having fun together. Each day we had a new class of friends visit and together we participated in 4 different activities.
This class is also collecting Christmas gifts for all of our preschool children and for the children in 2 different orphanages in Chiang Mai which will be delivered before Christmas.
A big thank you to all the staff, students and parents for your ongoing support.
What a great night at the Rotary Gala dinner tonight. Thanks to Stephen Patrick Devereux and Don Maclachlan and all of the chefs from Blue Olive, Shennanigans, Mantra and Oscars restaurants for all their hard work in putting on this fabulous event. Thanks to all those who came and supported us at our tables, we had a great time and built some awesome relationships too!
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!
Next Wednesday we are having a thank you party for all those who love and support us! It is important that you RSVP so that we can prepare a space for you at the table. If you have helped us in anyway at all... you are invited. Please pass this invite onto others who have helped us. Thanks and we look forward to seeing you!!!
