On the 9th of December we had the opportunity to celebrate the opening of our new building with so many friends. Thank you to everyone who came or sent words of encouragement. We thank you all!!! A big shout out to my mum who came all the way from Australia to be with us.
Pre School
We have finished school for the year and students will return on January, 12th. It is a time for staff to catch up on cleaning, sorting reports, accounts and also a time to take a well earned rest.

Santa came to visit the children bearing gifts that were kindly donated by the Community Faith church. He also sang 'Happy Birthday' to Jesus and explained to the children that Christmas day was not santa's birthday but Jesus birthday.
ISE Giving Tree
The students, parents and staff from ISE have been generously purchasing items for the Hand to Hand giving tree and today they were delivered to our centre. Hundreds of boxes of milk, noodles, pampers, toys, teddies, toiletries and stationary for us to use in our many projects. Thank you so much to all of those who donated!!!!
Our Saturday crossing activities have finished for the year. During the month of December we learned all about the story of Christmas and we celebrated Jesus' birthday with cake and presents. A big thanks to the Community Faith Church who provided the gifts and sent cards!!
Baby School
This month we welcomed Nui and her 2 children Nap Dow (2 month old girl) and Jo Jo (51/2 year old disabled boy). Nui is living at the center and in return she helps out with caring for all the babies during the day. This is giving our team the opportunity to teach her how to care for her own children and some basic life skills. Our goal is to help this single mum gain the confidence and skills so that she can get a job and support her own children in the future.
We also said goodbye to Bill, Barb and Rob.
Thong Kla is stable but he did not gain any weight this month. He went up country to visit his aunty and has a slight eye infection.
Another boy who is dependent of oxygen and suction machines in order to survive at home with his mummy and daddy who love him. Until the funds for this equipment can be raised he will remain in hospital.
Santa visited the children and we had the opportunity to pray for each patient. We then sang Christmas worship songs before having lunch with the nursing staff.
Santa brought the Christmas message of Jesus' love to the police too!!
