The ‘PACK UP’!!!
The month of October was the most exciting times in the history of Hand to Hand as we moved out from our old, dirty, noisy, and unsafe environment into our beautiful new school! The first job was to sort and pack up all of our stuff and this was an enormous task made easy by the army of volunteers who came to help.
On the move…..
We are so thankful to all the strong men and women who helped load and unload our furniture and belongings onto a truck. Our friends, sponsors, mums and dads all came to help.
The big ‘give away’!
Before we left our old school we had lots of furniture from the Regents International School Pattaya that we could give away to needy families who live in the area. Old school desks were turning into dining tables, counter tops and loads of other uses.
Parents at work!
The parents of our children at Hand to Hand showed how much they appreciate everything we do by turning up to help rebuild shelving, move our things, clean our rooms and arrange transportation.  Many hands do indeed make light work!
We’re Here!!!
We definitely made a mark on the community when our Hand to Hand signs went up. The colourful shades at the front keep the rain from blowing in and protect our outside area from the sun. This means that we can use this area in all kinds of weather and it looks good too.
The original Hand to Hand logo is in the middle of the cross as this represents the original calling that God gave to Pai and myself at the beginning of our foundation. The bottom hand represents us extending our hand to the poor and the top hand represents God’s hand upon us.
Finally at home!!!
We have finally moved into our new Hand to Hand home and we are so happy.  On the first day of school some parents even cried saying they never dreamed that their child could ever go to a school like Hand to Hand. Some have commented that it looks like an international school but to us it feels like home! The first day went off without a hitch  and it was straight down to work and play!
Lunch tables
For years we sat on the floor to eat, sleep, play and work but now we have real tables and chairs to eat at!
Child Protection Training
Margie conducted another child protection training at ISE school which was very successful. Lots of discussions took place that challenged the Thai staff to think about issues from many different perspectives. The staff were also equipped with ways that they can help prevent abuse and what to do if they witness and incident.
Geoff Lewis
Geoff is an older man from the UK who has had a stroke and is currently being repatriated to the UK. Hand to Hand has been working with the embassy to gather all of the documentation that needs and hopefully he will return home at the end of November. He desperately needs people to visit him so if you live in the Pattaya area and have some spare time please contact us at

Thank You!!!
There are so many people that we need to thank for helping us and we are so grateful to everyone who has given their time or financially. A special big thanks to Winston and Sukanya from the Riviera Wong Amat, Pattaya Sports Club, Regents International School Pattaya and of course our God. We will be having an official opening ceremony on December the 9th at 10:00. Please keep this date open and an invitation letter will sent out next week to everyone to come and celebrate with us.

Baby Care
Whilst the rest of Hand to Hand was on the move our baby school maintained a regular schedule. All the children are meeting their developmental milestones and are becoming more mobile every day crawling, climbing and almost walking too!
Last month we had the joy of baptising two of our staff members and one of our children too. It was a a very special day for our team and we celebrated with lunch afterwards.
