This month we have been learning about our family and how all the members help each other.
The month of August is also when we celebrate Thai mother's day and we all joined in with the theme of 'Bike for Mum'. The older children biked around the neighbourhood whilst our younger students took an adventure up and down our street. We made flowers and cards for our mum too!

We visited Thong Kla's family and gave them photos of their precious little boy. hey are sad but doing well and a big thank you to everyone who has been praying and supporting them.

The  Community of Faith Churches have been meeting each week in the Theprasit and Goh Pai slums. Mother's day was a reason to celebrate and also pay respect to the elderly mums in these communities.Love, joy and peace abounds in these services!!

Baby Meena has successfully settled in with her extended family and mum in Isaan. It is so exciting to see the vision of this centre being fulfilled and families being able to stay together. The home is no longer taking in new children and the staff from the centre have new positions at our pre school.

Our kids club also celebrated mothers day and they made crafts and gifts for their mums. We have some new helpers with our Saturday kids club and we are so thankful to everyone who helps and supports us in so many ways. A big thanks to all of our ISE students who have been helping during the holidays.

It has been a busy month of conduction more child protection trainings at the Regents, ISE and ISC schools. We are thankful for the opportunity to with the Thai staff in these schools raising awareness about child protection issues and how we can be advocates in the school and community.

A big thanks to the Rotary club who purchased walking frames and walking sticks to help the elderly in the slums to become more mobile. This contribution has made a huge impact on these people's lives!

Our little Cambodian boy who has suffered terrible burns after an accident on a construction site is recovering well, however he will need to have skin grafts in order to be healed completely. Please pray for him as he goes though this painful process.
