Meeting Opened with Serenity Prayer
Secretary Stacey Mae read the minutes from old business from Dec 7th - no discussion - motion to pass accepted
Treasurer Albert reported $400, and Scott reluctant to accept $100 payment due him. Albert was not certain if Scott is donating the balance due him to the district.
350 red books left over out of the 500. Books distributed thru Corrections, Treatment and LSG
Registar Dustin C. reported Madison Group is thinking of joining District 16. Ralph attending their weekly Tuesday noon meeting for a presentation.
Grapevine Arlene reported 3 successful raffle winners all receiving grapevine yearly subscription. Expenses are minimal and that profit leftover will be kept for something bigger. PASSED
Archives Arlene reported meeting with numerous individuals and that the stories from where and when seem to be different and looking for more concrete evidence. Also needs a place to store the Big Book from 1955 that was donated. PASSED
Corrections, St Frances reported in an email that the 1st meeting for correction had 39 members that there was no room for NA. Next meeting at Butler day and time to be determined- PASSED. Sue is working with Lake City area detention facilities for a women's program. Sue and Ralph continue to work with Live Oak Jail. Progress is slow. As the district for AA here is new so it is for the jails and prisons.
Treatment-Carol and Jeff stepped down - Alvin stepped up & Sarah K. to stand in as treatment alternate - Steve handed over material to Alvin - PASSED
Literature-Ralph reported 12 BIG BOOKS donated. Dustin and Albert now co-chair that committee- PASSED
GSR for LSG-Dale stepped in as alternate - PASSED
Public Information Gary reported no news - PASSED
Remote Communities OPEN
New Business: Dustin motioned next meeting to be held at Live Oak Group meeting room, 911 Nobles Ferry Rd., no change to time and date (March 7, 2020, 5:30PM) Motion passed. Dustin also announced that the LOG now meets 5 days, T, Th, and F at 7P, Wednesday at 10:30A, and Sunday at 8:30A.
Stacey Mae announced that she would like to step down. Dustin offered to assume her responsibilities. Matter tabled.
