It’s not too late to donate to our 2021 Phantom Ball! A huge thank you to all who have donated so far. No amount is too small and every donation counts. Best of all, every donation to the Phantom Ball goes to CHMS and benefits our students!

PTO Board Members and Committee Chairs have already dedicated hundreds of hours into improving and enhancing our student and staff experience here at CHMS, and we cannot wait to share updates with you.
Principal Dr. Levi Brown will welcome us and provide important school updates. We are honored to feature our special guest speakers, the CHMS Social Work team, who will discuss goals for student Advisory, and ways to focus on and highlight social and emotional learning for our students.

Illinois Principals Association invites you to celebrate Principals Week October 24-30.
We are so lucky to have TWO incredible principals and a wonderful Pupil Services Administrator to celebrate! THANK YOU Dr. Brown, Mr. Jones, and Mrs. Capizzi for the countless ways you care for our CHMS community.
If you see either of them this week (they are always busily scurrying about) please let them know how much they are appreciated!

You wouldn’t believe the busy-bee level of work that goes on behind the scenes of our PTO committees! This week, special thanks goes out to the Eagle Eats and Eagle Cafe committee leads and volunteers. Kudos to you for lending helpful hands, positive attitudes and giving hearts as we launched our first “Dinner Bell” (Home Run Inn Pizza) and “Spirit Lunch” (Smiley Cookies) last week!

Over 1000 used books were collected and donated to Open Books. Yippee!!! Thank you to Jack F. for organizing the event, the student volunteers for helping accept donations before school, and to all the staff, students and members of our community who donated used books. We have an amazing CHMS community!!
There continues to be a small delay with the spirit wear orders, but we anticipate they will be arriving next week! We thank you for your patience.
