News from the CHMS PTO

You Shop & Amazon Gives to Our PTO

Many of our CHMS families are already shopping on Amazon.com. But did you know that every time you shop on Amazon, you could be benefiting the CHMS PTO? When you shop Amazon through AmazonSmile and choose us as your charity, Amazon will donate 0.5% of your eligible purchases to the CHMS PTO.

To begin shopping for CHMS PTO, simply enter Amazon through our unique link HERE.

Once you have chosen your charity, Amazon will remember this for future visits; you do not need to select your charity each time you shop. However, you DO need to begin your shopping session by entering Amazon through entering AmazonSmile in your browser.

Look for the AmazonSmile logo and the Clarendon Hills Middle School Parent Teacher Organization on the top left of your screen to check that you’re shopping for CHMS PTO. You will also see a confirmation on your Order Summary screen. The rest of your shopping experience is the same.

AmazonSmile is an excellent way for CHMS PTO families to contribute to our school and our students without having to give up any extra time or money.  Thank you for your support!

November is Native American Heritage Month

Since 1990 the USA has celebrated Native American Heritage Month in the month of November.

Native American Heritage Month offers us the opportunity to celebrate Native/Indigenous people, history, culture, traditions, and contributions to society. It is also a time to raise awareness about the challenges Native/Indigenous people have faced, both historically and in the present.

If your child is interested in helping CHMS highlight this special month, please reach out to Mrs. Santini in Student Services at esantini@d181.org.
