Don’t miss the 6th grade dance/open gym this Friday, 7-9pm.  The event costs $5.00 at the door and is sponsored by the Peer Leadership Club.  Students must have a ride home at 9pm.

Sixth Grade Girls Lunch Club

The new lunch club will be held on Thursdays during third quarter, January 29th – March 26th.  It will be a place for 6th grade girls to get together to strengthen peer relationships, talk about social situations or challenges they may be experiencing as adolescent females and to have fun!  If you are interested in having your child join the club, please print and fill out the permission slip below and return to school.

Substance Abuse Prevention Event

Blunt, Bud, Skittles, Spice, Tweak and Skag. Got that? If you do, this drug lingo either has you dreading, hoping and barely coping or just wondering, guessing, and all out worrying.  The Robert Crown Center for Health Education is hosting a substance abuse prevention open house in observance of National Drug Facts Week this Saturday, January 31st, 10am-2pm. The program will include art installations, video screenings, and a variety of informative presentations.  Robert Crown is located at 21 Salt Creek Lane in Hinsdale.
