I am excited to welcome everyone to Clarendon Hills Middle School for the start of the 2021-2022 school year! We are happy to have CHMS students for full in-person learning at this time with all students and staff fully masked for safety.
To start, I must share that I am honored, humbled, and excited to continue to lead CHMS again this year! We have an incredible staff who always put our learners first, are experts in their content areas, and go above and beyond on a daily basis.
A continued thank you to our amazing PTO for their help this past year in all of their efforts to provide extension opportunities for our learners, updating the look of CHMS, and showing appreciation for our fantastic staff!
Again, I look forward to the start of another excellent school year! The exemplary staff, student body, parents and whole CHMS school community make Clarendon Hills Middle School a top-tier educational institution. Enjoy these last days of the summer and we will see you very soon!

Welcome 2021/22 CHMS families! Your PTO Presidents and Executive Board team would like you to know how much we are looking forward to connecting with you this school year. What a privilege if it happens to be in real life! No matter how we connect, please know we have great things in store for our students, staff and parents alike.
The fun starts tomorrow, August 16, at Back to School Day! Thank you Co-Chairs Lauren Inabnit and Kristina Cesca for spending many summer hours planning the best way to get our students off to a great start. And thanks to School Supply Co-Chairs Anne Prasse and Amy Phillips, many of you already have supply kits in hand, delivered conveniently to your doorstep.
One of the best ways the PTO Team can serve you this school year is to facilitate open communication between our school and our parents. It’s at the crux of the PTO “Purpose Statement”. It is an honor for us to be a community liaison. This, along with a mega-dose of patience, adaptability and positive thinking, is essential to the success and educational enrichment of our kids this year. We are on it!
