USED BOOK DRIVE for Open Books!

PLEASE bring any and all gently used books to school Wednesday, Oct 13 – Friday, Oct 15.   Books of all types are needed: fiction, non-fiction, cooking, textbooks, childrens books, etc.

Volunteers will be at school during drop-off and pick-up times to accept donations at each of the three entrances (two back doors for 7th & 8th graders, lobby entrance for 6th).  Please know your generous donations will help fund literacy and book grant programs throughout the Chicagoland area. THANK YOU!

Send Your Student a Smile on October 20!

CHMS will be celebrating Unity Day on Wednesday, October 20. Students can show their support by wearing orange to celebrate kindness, acceptance, and inclusion in our community. And YOU can send your student a smiley-face frosted cookie for a cause! Click HERE to send a smile, and help benefit CHMS Angel Fund.

All individually wrapped cookies will be distributed to students during Advisory on Wednesday. You will also have the opportunity to donate an Angel Fund cookie during checkout.

HCHS Habitat for Humanity Charity 5K October 17

2021 Raise the Roof 5K run/walk!

Hinsdale Central’s Habitat for Humanity club will be hosting a 5K run/walk fundraiser on Sunday, October 17.  The race will start promptly at 8:00 a.m. at the Hinsdale Central campus.  All proceeds from the event will support Habitat efforts in the Chicagoland area to expand access to safe, decent, and affordable housing.  To sign up, CLICK HERE
