We Want To Hear About Your
Experience At Our Centre
The Illawarra Women’s Health Centre is conducting a survey on how well our services meet our client’s needs.  The information collected on this survey will assist us to make improvements with the Centre’s services and activities. This information will also support us to apply for future funding.
This month we are inviting all of the Centres clients to complete our 2015 Client Survey. Clients will be able to complete this survey a number of ways:
  • Online: You can access this survey via the following link:
  • On paper: Complete a survey next time you are in the Centre, or contact us to have one mailed out.
  • Over the phone: We are happy to organise a phone survey. Please contact the Centre to organise a time that suits you best.
  • An interpreter can also be organised if needed.
As a small token of thanks all participants will have the chance to go into the draw to win a $100 Coles Myer Gift Voucher.  We also have one runner up prize of either a massage or reflexology session.
We highly value the needs of all our clients and would like to hear from you about your experience!

Go Red for Women
The Go Red for Women campaign is aimed at raising awareness about women and heart disease. Heart disease is the single biggest killer of Australian women. However, the good news is that heart disease is largely preventable. The Go Red for Women campaign will improve women’s knowledge of heart disease and stroke so that they can take action and achieve longer, better and healthier lives.
This year our focus is on women with disabilities and carers. Join us at the Illawarra Women’s Health Centre on Thursday June 18th for our Go Red for Women open day. Come and try an exercise class - Tha Chi, Circus WOW and fun gentle exercise. A Nurse will be doing free blood pressure and kidney health checks. A delicious light lunch will be served. Please wear something comfortable to try out the physical activities and wear something red!  The fun starts at 10:00am! It will run until 12:00pm. Please RSVP to or call 42556800. Cost: FREE
