LME/MCO Public Input for the House Select Committee on COVID-19
Alliance Health joined with the six other North Carolina Local Management Entity/Managed Care Organizations (LME/MCOs) to submit public input on meeting community needs during the current crisis to the e House Select Committee on COVID-19. Read the letter.
Community group donates face coverings 
Thanks to Covering the Triangle for their donation of 200 masks, which Alliance staff will distribute to people we serve through our supported living programs. Covering the Triangle have donated over 20,000 masks to local organizations throughout our communities. Virtual Food drive a double success!
Our Alliance CARES virtual food drive for the  Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina raised more than twice its $1,000 goal, bringing in a final tally of $2,115! Many thanks to the Alliance staff and community members who donated! You can donate to the food bank or start your own drive here.
Alliance Community Health and Well-Being staff help feed communities
Alliance Health Community Education Specialist Becky Fescina and Administrative Assistant Vickie Radford purchased, packaged and delivered 200 bagged lunches for Pastor John Jernigan's, Angels on a Mission Food Pantry in Four Oaks, Johnston County. The program serves a drive-thru lunch every Friday at 11 am; no identification required. He also provides the community with clothing and household items. On a given Friday, the mission serves 49 vehicles and 187 people. Angels on a Mission is located at 9856 Highway 210, Four Oaks, NC, 27524.
Alliance Community Education Specialist Wendy Gantt packed and delivered 100 bagged meals to the Women's Center of the Triangle in Raleigh. The Women's Center still needs items like masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer, as well as daily meals. To donate contact Jerri Carter, Volunteer Coordinator at or 919.829.3711 X102.
