Dear Prayer Warriors,
The Lord is really showing Himself to us, by giving us blessings upon blessings.  One evening this month before services started Timothy and I were talking about Papua New Guinea with a church member.  I made the statement that I had thought that we would grow old and die over there.  Bro. Victor spoke up and said, “I am glad that you did not stay over there.  Look at me, I might have been a drinker or something worse if you guys had not come to Mexico!”  What a tremendous blessing!  Thank you, Jesus!
We got word from a missionary friend about the Bibles that we have helped her with.  She shared the story of Irma who was not a Christian but she wanted a Bible.  Kathy suggested that she start reading in the book of John.  She did.  This lady became ill and was put in the hospital.  As Kathy and another Christian lady went to visit Irma, Kathy asked her friend to read some Scripture to Irma.  Irma said, “No I want to read.”  She began in the 1st chapter of John and read it with feeling and emphasis.  When she got to chapter 4 after she read the part where the Samaritan woman went into the town to tell the others that she met the Messiah, Irma said,
“The Samaritan woman went and told the people that Jesus is the Living Water!  Every time people come to visit me I tell them that Jesus is the Living Water!”
What a testimony of her salvation!  This dear lady went to be with Jesus this week, but we celebrate her life in Christ!  There were other stories about people who left their Bibles in plain sight as a testimony to lost family members.  Thank you BEAMS (Bible Education and Missionary Service) for supplying the Bibles for us to share with the Mexicans through our own ministry and with other missionaries and national pastors.
During the last 2 weeks of July we had VBS in Teran and in our church as well.  We praise the Lord for the lives of the young people that we were able to touch and strengthen in the Word of God.
Bro. Victor, a 47 yr. old bachelor, is often put down by his family because of his physical disability which earned him the label of being mentally handicapped.  He is however, a very intelligent person. We do our best to encourage him.  He has been praying publicly in our church services for about 3 months. This is a milestone for him because he was previously too self-conscious to agree to pray in public.
He asked Bro. Eric to have a service at his home for his 47th birthday last Saturday.  He wanted his family and relatives to hear the Word of God.  Most of them are not saved.  We had the opportunity to share the Gospel with the lost and uplift the saints.  We had 15 people in attendance.  Pray for Victor’s family.  Pray for Victor’s continued growth in the Lord.
Thank you, our supporters, who pray and give so that we can be here serving the Lord where you are not able or called to go.
Because He Lives,
Bro. Eric, Timothy and Aunt Jane
