Dear friends, families, ambassadors for the vulnerable and business partners,

Hope this email finds you fit & healthy, with the time and capacity to take 3 minutes to catch up on your investment of bringing hope & healing to vulnerable lives.

Following on from our last enewsletter, we were encouraged by the intentional partnership of #MandelaDay2018 (see the projects achieved together here) and another big thank you to Wisdom & Youth, Bowman's Law, Eantouch Radio, NOSA, LeeChem and Expand a Sign for making it happen!
And then we were so overwhelmed by the sincerity of avid Andy Carrie enthusiasts who supported the #LiveLikeAndy charity benefit gig on Saturday 28 July 2018. Watch the unfolding story of the restored Cafe Race bike here. To Johnno & Debs Carrie for choosing iThemba Lethu as the beneficiary, to Gary& crew from Mallaz Customs for dreaming BIG and to Paolo Falconer for his R10,000 donation - another huge and humble thank you from all of us!

And the fight for justice and dignity continues ...
It is not a fair playing field!
With 3.7 million orphans in South Africa (150,000 are child headed households), women aged between 15 and 24 year old making up a third of new HIV infections nationally and 52% unemployment of youth - it is imperative we continue to fight on for justice to prevail, orphans to be placed in families, children and women to be protected and educated and for the youth, and those parents/caregivers, to all be empowered through enterprise and employment! #togetherwedo
Whilst the fight is so real, it is equally so rewarding ...
It is so important to share the news and celebrate the lives of two of our little girls who were at iThemba Lethu for just over 5 years, and who through various circumstances are not deemed adoptable (yet!!), were transitioned to LIV Village on Wednesday 08.08.2018 for the next chapter of their life story. To our special friends at LIV, thank you for the privilege of co-labouring, in love with the Father, to care for the orphans in our country!

And in closing - to all Durban athletes running the FNB 10k City Surf Run on Sunday 14 October 2018, please sign up to run for us, so we can go further together!

Many thanks and kind regards,
