Norwood Junior Newsletter - March 2020

Finally Finals

It's been a great season for the Junior Club with five teams making finals.

In we have a shorter newsletter as things wrap up, we'll look at:
  • Finals campaigns
  • Long room podcast
  • Junior Presentation Night - 27th Mar
  • Next Season
  • Auskick

Unfortunately our new u12 girls team just missed out on finals by a few runs and our u12-3s team lost their semi finals last Friday. Out mini bashers don't play finals, but only lost one game for those that were counting.

The other four teams start their finals campaigns this week, this is where to see the action:

Semi Finals
u12-3s v North Ringwood at Mullum Reserve (top oval)
4:45pm Wed 11 March & 4:45pm Fri 13 March

u14-1s v St Andrews at Mullum Reserve (top oval)
8:30am Sat 14 March & 8:30am Sun 15 March

u14-5s v Vermont at Vermont Recreation Reserve
8:30am Sat 14 March & 8:30am Sun 15 March

u16s v South Croydon at Cheong Park
8:30am Sat 14 March & 8:30am Sun 15 March

Additionally all four senior teams made finals, with the women's team just falling short. With the first, third and fourth XI still in action, there is plenty to be excited about at the club.

Good luck to all teams playing finals.
