The Lake County Film Festival Virtual Edition starts soon!

Thanks so much to everyone that came out to the in person edition of the film festival over the past two weeks. After a little bit of rest, too little really, it's time to start up the virtual edition, which goes live tonight.

Here are the key points you need to know:

You can see the virtual hub, which shows all of the films (10 features & 10 short programs at https://watch.eventive.org/lcff2021. You don't need to watch the films on your computer, check your smart TVs and devices for an app called Eventive. If you install it, you can wach everything there.

We will be live-streaming Q&A's with filmmakers through the festival on our Facebook and YouTube pages. One short program each night at 8:15 PM, and one feature film at 9:30 PM, not including Thanksgiving. There is a schedule for the livestreams, and you can find the listings for them early, for example here is the Facebook link for opening night, and click "Get Reminder" to be alerted when we are about to go live. Hitting Subscribe and Notify on YouTube will also help alert you.

Eventually, each Eventive program will have a link to the Q&A in the description, like this one

Please spread the word about the virtual edition anywhere you can. All but two of the films are available anywhere in the country, and Cat Daddies and 18 1/2 are available anywhere in Illinois.

This will almost certainly be our LAST virtual festival, as sales are very low, but I am looking forward to these last 20 chats with filmmakers.

Thanks for everything,
