This sentiment was echoed by AHTA Chairman Alex deBrito. Both parties agreed to meet on a regular basis to resolve any issues that could be detrimental to the guest experience. BookAntiguaNow the official booking portal on www.VisitAntiguaBarbuda.com
The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority has selected Regatta Travel Solutions to power the booking engine on their new official destination website, visitantiguabarbuda.com.  Regatta will allow visitors to the destination website to book hotels, attractions and packages on the destination’s official website.
“Regatta has been doing great work here in conjunction with the Antigua Hotels and Tourist Association for more than four years now,” said Neil Forrester, General Manager of the Antigua Hotels & Tourist Association.  “It was the logical next step to incorporate their booking engine onto the new official destination website since it instantly provides our tourism partners with a low-cost distribution channel.”
“We look forward to expanding our partnership with this fabulous destination,” said Ashwin Kamlani, Founder of Regatta Travel Solutions.  “Our most successful projects in the Caribbean have been the result of this type of collaboration between the public and private sectors.  We have worked hard together with the hotel association to engage the suppliers in Antigua and Barbuda to build a more cost effective sales channel, and this is just what we needed to gain some serious traction.”
