First Selectman Ellen Scalettar recognized Kate Brown as the October Woodbridge Person of the Month.

Brown is a tireless advocate for Woodbridge businesses and was the driving force behind Woodbridge Fallapalooza, a month-long celebration.

New: Traffic Safety Awareness 


Woodbridge First Selectman Ellen Scalettar and Police Chief Frank Cappiello are announcing a new Town-wide traffic awareness initiative aimed at reminding the public about the risks of unsafe driving.

Share Your Thoughts on Signs

The Town of Woodbridge has hired a design consultant to create a wayfinding signage plan for the Town’s business district.

Two design concepts are on display at the Woodbridge Town Library through October 18 and on the Town's website. Residents may submit comments in paper form at the Library or through the website.

Monday October 10: Columbus Day: Town offices and the Library are closed. 

Through October 29: Household Hazardous Waste at Regional Water Authority, 90 Sargent Dr., New Haven. Saturdays, 9 am – Noon.

Through October 31: Motor Vehicle Assessment - High Mileage/Poor Body Condition inspection for October 2016 Grand List. (Vehicles must be registered in Woodbridge as of 10/1.)  Inspection does not guarantee value change. Bring car to Woodbridge Town Hall, Monday- Friday, 9am – 4pm. Appointment not needed.

Through November 1:  Personal Property Declarations are due back from businesses by November 1, 2016 to avoid 25% late filing penalty. Call, email or visit the Assessor’s Dept. on the Woodbridge Website if the Declaration Mailing was not received. (203-389-3416, assessorclerk@woodbridgect.org)

Through November:   DPW – Bulk Pick-Up. Every Tuesday through November by appointment. Contact Public Works at 203-389-3420.
