Announcing Fallapalooza!

Woodbridge Fallapalooza is a month-long celebration, starting with the Road Race on Saturday. (The Darling House's tag sale scheduled for Saturday has been postponed).

Next week there's a Business After Hours networking happy hour, Marrakech's Health and Wellness Fair at the JCC and Massaro Farm's Family Fun Day.

New Website Features


There are a series of buttons just below the main photo on the Town's new website.

One button, Notify Me, allows you to sign up to receive notifications when Town departments post news and when Board and Commission agendas and minutes are posted. You may choose which departments and which boards and commissions you're interested in.

 


DOT Unveiled Plans for the Tunnel

The state Department of Transportation presented initial plans to rehabilitate Heroes Tunnel at a meeting in Woodbridge last week.

Several alternatives were presented including: tunnel rehabilitation, tunnel widening and construction of a third tunnel.

Important Dates and Deadlines
                                        

October 1 - October 31: Motor Vehicle Assessment - High Mileage/Poor Body Condition inspection for October 2016 Grand List. (Vehicles must be registered in Woodbridge as of 10/1.)  Inspection does not guarantee value change. Bring car to Woodbridge Town Hall, Monday- Friday, 9am – 4pm. Appointment not needed.

October 1 – November 1:  Personal Property Declarations are due back from businesses by November 1, 2016 to avoid 25% late filing penalty. Call, email or visit the Assessor’s Dept. on the Woodbridge Website if the Declaration Mailing was not received. (203-389-3416, assessorclerk@woodbridgect.org)

October 4:   DPW – Bulk Pick-Up begins. Every Tuesday through November by appointment. Contact Public Works at 203-389-3420.         

Through October 29: Household Hazardous Waste at Regional Water Authority, 90 Sargent Dr., New Haven. Saturdays, 9 am – Noon.
