Community Partner Leadership Day

State Leaders Join Us Nov 1 in Long Beach

MANA's first Community Partner Leadership Day will be held at #MANACAM17 on Wednesday, November 1. MANA's Board of Directors will join community and state leaders, doing what MANA does best: bringing people together in a safe space for a dialogue on issues facing midwives today. Together we'll discuss how to achieve our visions for midwifery at the state level. With guidance from our own Indra Lusero of Elephant Circle, we'll discuss many issues facing the birth community including: access to midwifery education, access to midwifery care, especially for people of color, and how we can begin to address the disparities that are so devastating to birthing people around the country. Together we will create a toolkit of resources to help you in your own community. Please bring any resources that can be shared. To participate, or for more information, please contact Treesa McLean, Director of Public Affairs.
