Launch of the New Stay Connected Website

StayConnected Website Redesign

GEDSA's Stay Connected website has been available as an information source for over a year providing a unified message from our member enteral supplier companies.  Recently we have refreshed the look of our Stay Connected site making it organized for visitors to easily reach the information they are looking for.  Other changes include a syringe tab which illustrates GEDSA's recommended delivery protocols and relevant information about new ENFit™ tip syringes.

Deborah Pasko, Pharm.D., MHA
Director of Medication Safety and Quality
Center on Medication Safety and Quality
American Society of Health System Pharmacists (ASHP)

Before coming to ASHP in October 2014, Dr. Pasko was an Administrative Clinical Specialist and Sr. Project Manager at the University of Michigan CS Mott Children's and Women's Hospital.  Her work there in safety (patient and medication related) in addition to chairing the Pediatric Medication Safety Committee for 8 years led her to her current role as Director of Medication Safety and Quality at ASHP.  Deborah has vast experience in both clinical and administrative arenas of health systems.  Recently she has been co-leading an effort with ISMP's President, Mike Cohen, on helping health organizations transition to using the ENFit syringe designed to meet the new ISO standards  for enterally delivered medication.

" ASHP has been very pleased with the collaborative efforts between industry, governmental agencies, national safety organizations, health organizations and patients/caregivers.  In my new role it is very exciting for me to experience such an omnibus effort to do the right thing for the patient.  The new enteral tubing and syringe will enhance patient safety and ensure accurate medication delivery"

-Dr. Deborah Pasko
