Saving lives, one first-aid course at a time
This month, Bridport Girl Guides learnt some life-saving skills with some help from Joe from the Launceston branch of St John Ambulance Australia Tasmania.
The girls learnt all a lot, from how to manage bleeding wounds to how to perform CPR!
Guides are encouraged to learn skills like First Aid so they can help the community, as well as develop as individuals.
Bridport, Getting in the Groove!
Bridport Puggle Girl Guides have been working hard on their dance moves! As part of earning their Arts Badge, the girls are working towards putting on a concert for their families and their leader Dolphin, next month. The girls used their moves to spell out their names and choreographed it in a way that also showed their personalities.
