I know there is great excitement looming as the date gets nearer to when we start to return to meeting together and sharing in outdoor adventures. I know for some of you this date has already come!

Together we can do this was a focus of the last few months AND TOGETHER YOU DID! Your resilience, determination, initiative and boundless energy - not to mention your passion for Girl Guiding - enabled girls and young women all around Australia to continue their Guiding connections and enjoy time with their friends.

State Commissioner Role 


Are you ready for your next challenge? We are currently accepting expressions of interest for the position of State Commissioner of Girl Guides Tasmania. 

This volunteer role is open to any female who supports the aims and policies of GGT and is prepared to make the Guide Promise

Hobart Gang Show


Hobart Gang Show is well under way for the year, with videos coming in from home and small groups getting together to bring the Gang Show spirit to life.

Ticket to Play on again


Ticket to play is on again, starting 1 July 2020!
Ticket to Play provides two vouchers up to $100 in value towards club membership for children aged 5-17 years and listed on an eligible concession card.

Treasurer Role open


Do you have a background in accounting and want to help Girl Guides Tasmania behind the scenes? We are currently on the hunt for a new State Treasurer. 

This volunteer role is open to Guiding and non-Guiding members, male and female.

Lone Girl Guides help out the Devonport Dogs Home

Three of the Tasmanian Lone Girl Guides heard that the Devonport Dogs Home was in need of Vegemite and Peanut Butter as their staple treats for the dogs.
"We bought some every week until we had enough to deliver."
The girls delivered their collection last Sunday, complete with a contact-less handover.
