1. Regent Honeyeater incentives

The Reaching out to the Regent Honeyeater project is offering funding for on ground works to preserve and restore habitat and corridors in priority areas including:

• South of the Warrumbungle National Park and east of Tooraweenah.
• South of Premer, east to the Coolah Tops National Park and north east of Leadville

• Fencing for stock management and installation of alternative stock watering points,
• Pest animal and weed control,
• Habitat augmentation including restoration of native vegetation through supplementary planting of native plant species, and installation of habitat features such as hollow logs (subject to site assessment),
• Activities that protect, manage and preserve habitat and improve connectivity of native vegetation.

2. Glossy Black-cockatoo incentive funding

Funding will be offered for projects which improve existing remnant foraging and breeding habitat and/or revegetation activities to improve landscape connectivity in priority areas including:

• Near Goobang National Park
• Near Goonoo National Park
• Near Pilliga State Forest

Priority actions include:

• Fencing for stock management and installation of alternative stock watering points
• Pest animal and weed control
• Habitat augmentation including restoration of native vegetation through supplementary planting of native plant species, and installation of habitat features such as nest hollow augmentation (subject to site assessment)
• Stock access management to enhance species habitat
• Activities that protect, manage and preserve habitat and improve connectivity of native vegetation
