Seetec Employment & Skills joins GUAC

Seetec Employment & Skills have become the latest employment and skills specialist to take up associate membership of Give us a Chance.

As one of the UK’s leading employment and skills providers in the UK, Seetec Employment & Skills supports over 100,000 individuals every year to find work and improve both their pre-employment and in-work skills.

Commenting on the arrival of the latest member, Chair of GUAC, Ian Simpson, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Seetec on board. With the housing and employment sectors sharing so many of the same goals, supporting partnerships amongst us grows ever more essential. GUAC speaks up on youth support in newly launched Journal

As a leading voice on employment support in the social housing sector, GUAC has been asked to contribute to a newly launched Skills, Employment and Health Journal. The Journal is targeted at DWP, DoE, and DoH – in the next edition GUAC will set out the role that housing organisations play in helping young people overcome challenges to secure long term, sustained employment. This edition will be entitled "Special Youth Employment Convention Edition" and will be available in December as part of the Youth Convention.
