New Grand Narrative Artist Profile Ghenoa Gela

It's Party time!

Dearest Pegs

Guess what? It's party time. And not just any party. Our. Launch. Party.

That's right, after two years of gestation we're hitting the go button on this baby. And we'd like you all to bear witness.

Come down to Testing Grounds tomorrow night from 6–11pm for a night of merriment and mayhem as we officially launch our 2014 festival program New Grand Narrative. There'll be a smokin' selection of video art curated by the amazing Channels Festival as well as pop-up performances, art installations and a very, very special guest. Grab a beer, indulge in a minute makeover, then shake yo' ass at a micro dance party. And while you're at it, get your mitts on a copy of the very sexy Next Wave Festival 2014 Magazine, fresh off the press!

If you're itching to get the party started early, come down to tonight's launch of Precious Metals at Centre for Contemporary Photography. Curated by Sophie Kitson, Precious Metals is a collection of new and recent photographs by 25-year-old, Sydney-based artist, Jack Mannix, and is the very first cab off the ranks for NWF2014! Join Sophie, Jack and the Next Wave team from 6-8pm for a pre-pre-Launch drink.

Go easy though, because Friday's gonna be, well…GRAND.

5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0, BLAST OFF!
